It is strongly recommended that you wear a helmet, protective clothing and other safety gear when riding an e-scooter. Do not ride an e-scooter if you are not capable of safely controlling it. Do not ride an e-scooter if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

You should never ride an e-scooter on public roads or pavements, unless there is a designated cycle lane for e-scooter use. Be aware that you may encounter pedestrians, cyclists and other road users on shared paths.

It is important to follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the use, maintenance and charging of the e-scooter. Always check the brakes and other safety features before riding an e-scooter.

You should never attempt stunts or tricks on an e-scooter. This can lead to serious injury or death.

The use of an e-scooter is at your own risk. We accept no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury caused by the use of your e-scooter.

Local laws regarding e-scooters vary by city and state. Generally, scooters are not allowed on sidewalks or in parks otherwise posted. Riders must wear a helmet posted per local laws and obey all traffic laws, including the speed limit. Some cities require scooter riders to have a valid driver's license, while others only require riders to be at least 16 years old. E-bike/scooter laws vary from state to state and even from municipality to municipality. Therefore, it is important to check the laws in your local area before riding an electric bike or e-bike. Generally, the main laws to be aware of for e-bikes/e-scooters include speed limits, helmet requirements, and age restrictions. In some states, electric bikes/e-scooter may also need to be registered and/or have license plates. Some states also have laws that require riders to use bike-specific paths and/or bike lanes. Additionally, some states have laws that require e-bikes/e-scooters to have a speed governor that limits the bike to a certain speed. Riding an electric scooter or electric bike involves inherent risks, including serious injury, property damage, or death, even when used as intended. By purchasing and/or using a WyrdRyds product, you:

Assume All Risks – The Customer understands and acknowledges that riding an electric scooter or electric bike or usage of parts and accessories involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, personal injury, property damage, and even death. These risks occur even when the scooter or electric bike or usage of parts and accessories is used as intended. The Customer voluntarily assumes all such risks, both known and unknown, associated with the use of the electric scooter or electric bike or usage of parts and accessories, even if arising from the negligence of the Company or others, and assumes full responsibility for their participation.

Release & Waive Liability – To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release WyrdRyds and its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and partners (“Released Parties”) from any claims, damages, or injuries related to your use of the product.

Indemnify Us – You agree to defend and indemnify the Released Parties from any claims by you or third parties arising from your product use or breach of these Terms.

Maintain the Product – You are responsible for routine maintenance and ensuring the product is safe to operate.

Comply with All Laws – You agree to follow all local, state, and federal regulations governing electric scooter/bike use.

SECTION 5 – PRODUCTS & SERVICES

Some of our products are offered exclusively online and may be available in limited quantities. This is to include pictures do not always match and can be for reference only due to product updates. Product descriptions and pricing may be updated from time to time without prior notice. We may also set limits on purchases based on customer location or other factors. While we aim to ensure our products and services meet your expectations, we cannot guarantee this in every instance or that all errors will be corrected immediately.
